Mike Brown must be laughing his ass off right now.

Doc should try to hire him as an assistant, if possible. He is good at defense. Scott Skiles is another one.

And BOS's win tonight makes us only 5 games out of 1st place in the East, believe it or not.

http://espn.go.com/nba/standings

We are 7th seed.

We are streaking right now..NY (2nd Seed) is losing ground and only 4 games in front of us.

MIA (1st seed) is inconsistent and with the Chris Anderson rumors, they obviously believe they have some Big man weaknesses.

We've recently beaten Indy and ATL (3rd and 4th seeds).

We've beaten BKN just on Christmas day (6th seed).

1st place may be a stretch in the East - but 2nd seed is definitely there for the taking.

I wouldn't mind either of those two in BOS.

Yes, either one would make a nice Thibs replacement.

And I'm starting to believe that perhaps the Lakers COULD miss the playoffs, LOL.

They are 5 games out of the 8th spot (POR), and with the recent spate of injuries they could lose even more ground.

I don't see POR keeping up their pace (8th seed), but HOU won't lose much ground.

The door could very well be closing in Laker Land. And Dwight is leaving if the Lakers don't win a title this year - no matter what he says.

Mark Cuban will probably get his next big man. He and Dirk will look good together next year.

I like reading the comments on SSnR after every Lakers loss (I don't troll, just lurk). Some of the comments are genuinely funny. ;D

I'm sure they are.

Laker fans are, for the first time in quite a while, having to deal with a rash of injuries and reality.

I like to do this in the morning before I go to work. Same exact thing. Just read through all the comments while on the train.

All smiles :]

On Lakers fans. I imagine them crying this year and the fans of other teams licking up the tears ala Eric Cartman.
