That Steve Nash + Pau Gasol pick and roll is going to be a nightmare to stop. Denver can't defend it.
And they run an isolation for Kobe ... what a waste. Get out of the way Kobe!

Let Nash and Pau run the show. They'll create for everyone else.

I don't know why LA is running so many sets with Pau Gasol up at the top of the key.

Put him in the pick and roll going to the hoop or post him up. There is no way in hell Faried can defend Pau in either sequence. But Faried sure as heck can defend Pau when he is used as a high post passer (non-threat).

Two big threes and two additional trips to the FT line for Gallinari over the last few minutes. 10 points. Gallo is pulling this out for Denver late in the fourth.

That was a huge missed fastbreak layup for LA. And Gallo punished them for it.

Chuck Hayes should be starting for the Kings. They need his interior defense and tough man-to-man defense on Aldridge with Cousins out. Jason Thompson isn't going to be able to defend Aldridge.

Edit: What the heck, is that James Johnson trying to defend Aldridge?

Sacramento's two lineups in the third quarter so far against the Blazers starting five of Lillard, Matthews, Batum, Hickson and Aldridge.

PG: A.Brooks
SG: M.Thornton
SF: J.Salmons
PF: James Johnson
C:  J.Thompson

And now

PG: I.Thomas
SG: J.Salmons
SF: F.Garcia
PF: T.Outlaw
C:  J.Thompson

Pathetic lineups for Sacramento. Get Chuck Hayes on the floor!

No defensive integrity without Chuck Hayes (or Cousins). They are just too small. Terrible interior defense. Very weak PG defense. Weak SG defense with Thornton. Combo forwards at PF. Too many vulnerabilities.

You can't expect to play respectable man or team defense with lineups like that.

Kenneth Faried is the real deal.

With 10:55 left in the LAL-DEN game, he has 12 rebounds, with 19 pts.

Pau-DH-Jordan Hill? 17 rebs.

I really like this guy, what a rebounding fiend. Absolutely agonizing that we were just a few draft spots away from being able to select him :(

Love to see him in green. He'll go for 30 boards in a game one day!

I dislike Wade more than LeBron. Never imagined I could dislike a player more than LeBron. A case of "one rotten apple can spoil the whole bunch" maybe..or maybe I never paid attention to his cheap shots before he teamed up with LeBron and RuPaul.

Am I the only one that thinks that with Dirk back, Dallas has the potential to become a very dangerous team? I like their roster, Rick Carlisle has get a good rotation going, which should do wonders going forward. They're a bit disorganized at the moment.

I don't think they have enough defense to do anything in the playoffs.

And their defensive rebounding has been quite suspect. But I think they're deep team who can put decent quality guys throughout the full game, they got some size, some athleticism, some speed... I don't know, I think they're a bit underrated at the moment, particularly given their recent struggles.

Haha, oh boy, Thabeet got caught on a switch on Dirk.

Poor lad. Thabeet looked terrified as Dirk faced him up from 16 feet on the right wing. One pump fake and it was over. Thabeet was out of the play.
