Watching Sheed play in the post for the Knicks annoys me. He continually set up a tent outside the three point line in Boston.
I wonder if that was his choosing or Doc's? I know he busted Pau's behind constantly in the post in that game 7...poor fella just ran out of juice in that game. |

He averaged 5.9 3PA per 36 minutes in Boston. He's up to 8.6 in a small sample size with the Knicks. In Boston 44.6% of his shots were for three. In New York, that's jumped to 51.1%. However, if he keeps rebounding at the same level, he would set a career high in rebounding rate. His jump in WS/48 is probably mostly attributable to his jump from 6.6 to 9.0 rebounds per 36 minutes. |

Bit of a scuffle at the end of Blazers-Bulls.
Portland was up 6 with less than 10 seconds to go and Lillard went in for a dunk. The Bulls players didn't appreciate it, and the announcers were saying Taj Gibson was going after Lillard at half-court. Nate Robinson has some words with Lillard, which I think was the right way to handle it.
Hopefully, Lillard learns, because I think he's going to be a star some day.

Or, to put it another way, his poor work ethic and conditioning caught up to him.
I think people are being a little unrealistic with comments like these. The guy was an old seven footer who played in almost every game during the season then had some injuries in the playoffs (which people blame on "conditioning") then he literally gets thrust into the starting Center position in the last game of the season. And he still played what 34 minutes, and played very well for those minutes. Who knows if pj brown could have done the same thing. Who knows if Rondo got injured last year in game six got injured and Doolinghad to step up in game 7 how he would have done. Not to mention Dooling could barely play in the regular season because of injuries (presumably due to his "lack of conditioning") |

I'm a Sheed fan, but the dude absolutely slouched his way through the 2009-10 regular season.
I read somewhere that he's got coaching aspirations. He's certainly got post moves (although you wouldn't know it if you only knew him from the his run with us), and I could see him being a decent big-man developer.
"So Coach Wallace, when I've got my back to the basket and spin baseline, what happens if I see the help defense coming?"

And another ex-Celtic, Jermaine O'Neal posted 52 points, 25 rebounds, 7 blocks and 5 steals in the last four games in a total of 85 minutes.
13 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.75 blocks and 1.25 steals in 21.2 minutes.
Nice little stretch he has there.
