That's the more interesting questions.

If Alabama loses a game and the other three undefeated teams win out, will a one win SEC team get into the title game over one of the undefeated teams?
No they won't.

Yeah, as of right now the computers have KSU and ND above Alabama.  If Alabama slipped in the human polls, they wouldn't have a shot.

They'd still be the best team in college football, though.

I am thinking more about LSU.

They have two ranked teams including the number 1 team.

Then if they go to the SEC title game, they will get one more top 10 team.

The computer ranking can change alot.
It won't happen.  The major unbeatens will play and the 1 loss SEC team (either Georgia/Florida or LSU) will be left out.  A 1 loss SEC champion would go ahead of unbeaten Louisville but not unbeaten Oregon, Kansas State, or Notre Dame.

Notre Dame is repeatedly shooting itself in the foot today.  Looks like one too many mistakes.

More like Pitt did just enough to lose, but yeah.

Alabama/LSU, KSU/OSU, and Oregon/USC all dogfights at this stage of the night.

So college has the 4 team playoff now, right?

If so, I could see ND being top 4, and therefore having a chance at the National Champioship.

I don't think it takes effect this season.

Well, then ND will be hard pressed.  Two of Alabama, Oregon and Kansas St must lose.  ND still has a few tough games left also.

Kansas State popping the champagne so to speak.  Bama loss opens the door for them (Oregon would have easily passed them for #2 by the end of the year).

Looks like it is not happening, Notre Dame would have got mauled that game anyways.   Look at their schedule though it is pretty weak around 15th.

That makes two of us.

Oregon-Kansas St should be 1-2 now with Notre Dame being #3 despite the nonsense Golic was spouting last night.

K State still has to get by Texas and ND still has to get by USC. Alabama Oregon for the national title could still happen.

What a Saturday in college football with 1 & 2 going down.

This matchup might actually happen. ND still has to get by a possibly Matt Barkley-less USC squad while ''Bama most likely looking at Georgia in the $EC title game in 2 weeks with a ticket to the title game on the line.

Unbelievable Saturday.
