The guys on PTI just talked about this possibility.  Frankly I got excited just thinking about it.  This would be pretty awesome if it played out this way.

I think love or hate Notre Dame, college football is better when they are good.

Notre Dame isn't running the table.

I have doubts they'll get by Oklahoma tonight and, even if they somehow do, they're not getting by USC in November.

They should grab an at-large in the BCS, though.

Big question is who Alabama will face in the national title game.  Inclination is to go with Oregon right now.

This happened once before, in 1973. Quite a game.

Oh God. I hope not.  Notre Dame is much worse than their record, and they're probably gonna lose to Oklahoma tonight and then USC.

Looks like it's a legit possibility now. If it comes down to KSU and ND the Irish will probably get the nod on name recognition alone. They also have a better win over OU than KSU does.

If things hold, it will probably be Oregon vs Alabama. This would be great for College Football, as ND diehards would be extremely upset and possibly be the final push to a playoff system.

KSU has an easy schedule left with just Texas to end the year. If they win out they play Alabama, which I think is a shame since i think Oregon might be the only team able to have a shot at beating 'Bama.

IMO, Oregon is the best team in the country.  It would be a shame if they win out and don't play for the title.  Though I do think if the 4 teams win out, Oregon will play Alabama.  I'm not convinced Alabama will win at Louisiana State this weekend, but if they do, they should make it to the SEC title game unbeaten and they should beat Georgia rather easily.  Kansas State should win out given they have already played their two most difficult games.  Notre Dame's last test is Southern California, but I wouldn't be totally surprised if they had a let down along the way at some point.  They rely a lot on their defense and some team might be able to figure it out.

That's the more interesting questions.

If Alabama loses a game and the other three undefeated teams win out, will a one win SEC team get into the title game over one of the undefeated teams?

Yeah, as of right now the computers have KSU and ND above Alabama.  If Alabama slipped in the human polls, they wouldn't have a shot.

They'd still be the best team in college football, though.

I am thinking more about LSU.

They have two ranked teams including the number 1 team.

Then if they go to the SEC title game, they will get one more top 10 team.

The computer ranking can change alot.

I don't see a one loss SEC school (ALA or LSU) making it to the BCS title game if two of the three of Oregon, Notre Dame, and Kansas St are undefeated.

If somehow it happened, the outcry in college football would be utterly insane.
