Here's a question that I posed to my roommate today:
Tebow stepped into a team that was 1-4 and just traded away their best skill position player. He led them to finish 8-8 and to a playoff birth then to an OT win against the Steelers.
Most people claim that it was not Tebow, but Denver's defense to credit for Denver's success.
So, had that defense and the rest of that team been in tact, could any of: Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne, Mark Sanchez, Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden, Jake Locker, Nick Foles, Brady Quinn, or any Arizona quarterback have led that 1-4 Broncos team into the playoffs and to a playoff win?
I don't get why teams won't give Tebow a chance as starting QB. Whether or not you think Tebow could lead a team to a superbowl, none of those quarterbacks are leading a team to a superbowl either.

My guess is Tebow isn't even in the league next year
Even as a 4th quarterback, he will bring more to a team in terms of generating $ from apparel than some 53rd player on the roster. And tebow could probably play on special teams if he is a 4th string qb. |

Cam Newton is way better than Tim Tebow.
Tebow had more wins in his first year as starter last year than Cam has this year and that's despite not starting till his 6th game. Tebow took a 1-4 team to the playoffs. He took a losing team and led them to wins. Cam takes a losing team and leads them to losses. There is just no comparison. None whatsoever. Tebow can even make a defense play better just by touching the field. Remember last year when the Broncos defense just happened to pick the game that Tebow got extensive playing time to suddenly play really well? Remember those 4th quarter drives? Cam can't get a defense to suddenly start playing well. |

Tebow was ranked 95th best player in the league according to his peers. Now he's supposedly the most overrated. So what the players are saying is "We have absolutely no idea who good players are. Do not take our rankings seriously".
Hey when he made the Steelers look like a bunch of Cam Newtons do you think they sat around after the game and said "Man. He is so overrated?" I think they did.
