so our team is tied with thier bench warmers....still no ones sees the issue? and stop saying its preseason lol that means nothing to us as we are still using our prime players 0_o

Simple. You don't like what you see, then stop watching, and until this happens when things are actually at stake here and when we're fully healthy, people should and will say that it is pre-season. If we seriously cared about tonight we would have taken Sullinger off Blatche for KG ages ago.
inn the real game KG going to have to rest then as well and we will still be looking for sully to come in right? in a real game we would be looking at lopez and humpries and I dont see that going any better.

And im sure players don't treat games as "its just the preseason" This is what they love to do and they will play hard regardless (see J green)

I do because the Celtics wouldn't really put a frontcourt lineup of Sullinger, Bass, and Green together in a real game. For whatever reason I just don't think Doc would ever do that in a real game, considering all three of those guys are undersized 4s. All the pre-season is at this point is just experimentation of what lineups work and what lineups don't.

Guess what? The 2007 Patriots went 2-2 in the pre-season, and the 2008 Lions went 4-0 in the pre-season, and what happened to them?

Pre-season indicates NOTHING.

IF tom brady played all 4 quarters and they couldn't score a TD it would mean SOMETHING.

In that case we cant judge sully at all. As matter a fact we  cant judge any player on the celtics bench. So are we still assuming green cant do anything after his injury?

To anyone else who is thinking of panicking after a pre-season game, the other title contenders aren't doing well either.

Miami: 1-2
Lakers: 0-3
OKC: 1-2

Does that comfort you?

yeah, just like if Pierce and KG played their usual minutes maybe it would mean something too, but they didn't so I'm not so ready to press the panic button.

Pre-season is used to judge how players fare, not the team. taht's why we use our non-camp invitees in the closing minutes. We lost to a European team earlier who is much worse than the Nets' 2nd string, and yet no one panicked. Do you really expect us to use Jason Collins for 15 minutes a game when everyone is playing?

the rookies are being schooled , and whipped into a team.

They NEED TO LOSE some....becasue they aren't going to win every game .  So losing EARLY gets this mental colapse of failure out of the way.  EVerybody  learns to push aside the defeat and move on , pick themselves up and win the next game.  Thats how you win playoff series....mental tuffness, it took Lebron a long time to understand the MENTAL part of the game. OKC failed big time.

Also losing show DA and DOC who cares and will come back and play harder next game.

Losses expose mental weakness and a players capacity to focus on the task at hand and the big picture .

You don't want players who quit ...

You can be sure DA and Doc are looking for those who are confident , and won't quit.

OKC, Miami, the Lakers, and of course Boston are all going to be lottery teams this season. Preseason dictates that Glen Davis will likely be Finals MVP.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Seriously? These guys coast through parts of the regular season because they're waiting for the playoffs to start, and you don't think they'd treat games as "its just the preseason"?
