Ditto, I demand that we both get ridiculed at least a little!

I guess I need to get to cut down day to more fully evaluate this, but my first instinct is that UY won this trade. He got decent prospects and a decent player and all it really cost him was his 2nd rounder and moving down maybe 7 spots in the draft.

Here was my rationale...

Roberts wasn't going to make my roster, but he had some handcuff value for UY.

Ariza and Wright help me solve my SG/SF position short term until Bullock/Rice/Ledo can develop.

Chandler hurt a little to part with, but Ariza and Wright each give me 90% of what he brings to the table.

Wright and Moultrie are useful bigs, but were on the outside of my rotation, and I don't see either emerging as reliable starters soon (maybe Moultrie, but Wright is in his 6th year and has deficiencies that limit his minutes).

Meanwhile, I think moving up in the 1st round of next year's draft plus an extra pick is worth more than the difference between say, Chandler and Ariza or Moultrie and Cunningham.

I dare say I saw it as a win-win for teams with different priorities.

Hey...just FYI....espn's rankings is down to 180 now....that means 30 teams times 6 guys....we're down to the starters and 6th man on each team.

I have the following guys in that mix

Rondo
D Lillard
B McLemore
V Oladipo
C Parsons
Tyreke E
C Zeller
Jonas V
G Vaz
A Bradley

and just outside it at 203 I had T Ross...closer to a 7th man, which starts at 210.

I wonder how your guys are doing

Why wait to use a second rounder next year and then wait another year for NBDL development, and then hope he cracks the rotation, when eja can give you two young guys already in the rotation?  Come to eja's emporium of slightly used, but still good players

Anybody looking for a Co-GM? I'd like to join a team. Not looking to meddle in your team affairs, just curious to see how this league is run/works. I know its different from the H2H format. I can give you my opinion on trades/trade offers if you think its worth it.

BFM -- the point league, for whatever reason, seems to have a higher turnover than the h2h league (i think we've replaced 1-2 teams a year IIRC) and we're only up to 18 (17 + Pittsburgh) on Yahoo! so you may be able to just grab a team.

If you want to intern... i can pull back the curtain.. but be prepared to be disappointed:

Thanks, GC. I'd like to observe how this league works, so later I may think about getting my own team.

Biggest difference from the H2H league IMO is in the PTS league the best team always wins. In the H2h league you can sneak in the playoffs and then catch a hot streak from a few guys and some breaks from players on other team sitting out or being injured or taking it easy and you can ride into the finals. No such luck in the PTS league.

PTs league is easier. Instead of keeping track of 9 things you keep track of one
