I really believe our revamped defense is going to show us some things today. And we're going to need it because I think the game will be closer then we may expect.

Patriots win 21-13
Let's Go Celtics!!

Offense looks terrific.  Bad play by Lloyd or Brady would have 2 TD passes in the 1st quarter. Ridley is quick.  Brady looks incredibly sharp.

Defese was impressive on last drive, hopefully continues.

What a catch by Lloyd!

Love to see Brady going downfield ... too bad it ended with a sack.

Rookies!!!!  Great play.

They are both going to be studs , especially Jones. Finally a young pass rusher!

Interesting that interference on the punt reception is a spot foul.  Should be a 10 or 15 year penalty IMO.

Gronk has been in on at least three defensive plays so far. This team is so multi-talented.

Pats are a different team on both sides so far.  Of course, only a half of football, but they are showing so many different wrinkles on offense (including a real running game), and the difference on D is night and day.

Great run game today, nice showing by the rooks, decent defense, (though the pass rush was a bit lacking), and expected high-level play from Brady ... nice win!

Nice, comfy, solid W today.
Rookies looking good!

EDIT: I love Chris Johnson's stats for today (11 rushes for 4 yards).

Great game.  A lot of positives to take away.

-Ridley proved he can be a starting back who can be a lot more dynamic than BenJarvus Gree-Ellis.

-Lloyd and Brady hit it off right away.  This won't be Ochocinco Part II.

-Gronk and Hernandez were their usual dominant selves.

-Offensive line was adequate.

-the defense looks better.  Would've liked to see lower completions percentages for Locker, but they did held them to 13 points.

-INT for Wilson, strip sack for Chandler which leads to a Hightower TD.  Great start for the rookies.

-Also liked to see Jermaine Cunningham looking to have a comeback season with a sack of his own.

I agree with all of the above.  D stopped the run, but still vulnerable v. the pass.   Loved Ridley.  O line, as you say, was adequate.  Cunningham has wheels.
