I was walking along the road with two friends the sun was setting suddenly the sky turned blood red I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city my friends walked on and I stood there trembling with anxiety and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.

Since the trade is under review, what's the deal with protected picks? I know there was a proposal on the board not to allow picks to be protected outside of the #1 pick. Other people objected to any protection of picks where the protection extends to next season (i.e., if you don't get my #1 pick next year, you get it this year). What's the protection on this pick? In the unlikely event that Wiggle's pick is in the top-3, what does Birdman get?

Looking to jettison some players prior to the cut down date. I'm open to 2-for-1s, 3-for-2s, 15-for-13s, or player-for-pick swaps that can free up some space since I am staring down 4 (!) cuts this year. Here's who you could pick up for a song (provided that song is *NSYNC's Gone, which is INCREDIBLE).
Most available:
Doron Lamb Jae Crowder Marquis Teague Jodie Meeks Martell Webster
Slightly less available:
Devin Harris Jamal Crawford Boris Diaw Jason Thompson
UNTOUCHABLE VANDY GUY:
John Jenkins

I don't believe we've ratified an official policy on this yet. The latest motion I proposed was a max of top-3 protection, with the 1st rolling over to the following year (no protection). I think we'll put this trade on hold until our league guidelines are set on pick protections. This can/should be the next item up for vote.

I don't know if I've seen a trade with more players and less production changing hands. Although if Villanueva starts producing again or Henry puts it together that could change pretty fast. On balance, I like it for Lucky. But it probably won't move either team's record much.

Yeah, I don't think this moves the needle much for either me or jgod. But, he needed a PG, and I needed to consolidate my roster a bit. Farmar and Hudson will be cut after the deal goes through. Unless someone wants to make me an offer. 3rd rounder for either of them?

Since I've (kinda surprisingly) heard from 2 teams about this guy, I'll just publicly say what I told them:
Josh (Jorts) Harrellson is available for a 2nd round pick. Centers that can hit the 3 are pretty valuable in fantasy, and he'll get the opportunity to do that in Miami. And his fashion sense is second to none. But I don't really have room for him at this point, so he's available cheap.
EDIT: I'd also be willing to include him in a 2- or 3-for-1 deal. But I can't take a comparable player straight up because that won't help my roster.

Perfectly put, FWF.
I needed help at the point with Farmar bouncing overseas, and I'm also a fan of JLIII, I think he could stick around a while.
Gray will get the nod at the starting 5 for the Raps (for now), and Henry still has upside.
Pretty lateral move for both teams as of now...

So I'm still debating my cuts but here is who I'm currently looking to trade if anyone has any interest in any of these guys.
Jordan Crawford Gary Neal Jonas Jerebko Jan Vesely DeJuan Blair Kendrick Perkins Linas Kleiza Patty Mills Jason Smith
I have these picks as well 1st rounders: My own, Utah Flash 2nd rounders: my own, Tione's Boy, Juggernauts, Birdman
I currently will not be accepting any 2nd rounders in a trade. But will gladly package them and 1st rounders.

So, we have 17 of 20 votes in on the veto question, and 11 have responded in favor of keeping the current Yahoo! defaults of 1/3 of league votes needed to overturn a trade.
I've posted the next question, re: protections on 1st round draft picks. Once this is resolved, we can process the outstanding Birdman-Draft Dodgers trade.
Please vote, and post comments if you feel your preferred choice is not represented among the voting options.

Since I have had a lot of offers for Horford, I am going to put him on the block! The only condition is that I want one all-star caliber young player in return for Horford and 1 or 2 other players. I am not looking to give him away and have guys I can cut if necessary, but would like to package Horford and a couple others for one young, all-star.
Jonny Flynn E'Twaun Moore MarShon Brooks Marco Belinelli Chase Budinger Derrick Brown Ed Davis Taj Gibson Byron Mullens Jason Maxiell Jeremy Tyler Kemba Walker Nikola Vucevic Chris Douglas-Roberts Kyle Singler Al Horford Avery Bradley Meyers Leonard Mo Harkless Tyler Zeller Fab Melo Miles Plumlee own 1st own 2nd
