First draft for me here. So after making an unbelievable valuable draft pick late in the 2nd round, I will be over the roster limit. When do I have to pare down to 15 players?

Lucky is the final voice of course -- but usually it's a few weeks before the season starts.

Yeah, you'll have a month or so to sort things out.  I think I had 21 guys after last year's draft, and only had to cut like one, and that only because a rules technicality invalidated my trade.

EDIT: That reminds me, Lucky, can we be explicit this year that the trade deadline is the "trade submitted" deadline, and not the "trade submitted, announced, and given 24 hours to be vetoed" deadline?  I don't want a repeat of last year's kerfuffling.

So, who's ready for the draft?

It's going to be roughly a week from today. We'll do the same format: 10 minutes between first rounders, 5 minutes between second rounders.

If we start with the first pick due at 12 PM EST (9 AM my time), this should take us up to 5 PM EST. Could even work a short break in between rounds if needed.

Which day works best: Tues, Wed, or Fri? Could do Thurs, if people really want it, but I'll need to find someone to help run things, as I have a couple meetings that afternoon.

Can I send you a copy of my draft board in case I miss one of my picks.  I should be on, but I never know when I could get busy with something at work and pulled away from the computer.

I've been accessing the old rosters through the Yahoo league website, which I'm sure is not up to date at all. I don't know if we have a google doc for the H2H league. I typically scroll through the last few pages in this thread and find the updated rosters that some people posted recently for their teams.

Yea, Vasquez should do well in Sacramento, he will run the show up there and should get his assist numbers easily, especially with Tyreke Evans gone.
