Here is what blows my mind about this team - the second unit might be a 7-8 seed in the East.

Terry
Bradley
Green
Sullinger
Wilcox

This team has the potential to win upwards of 62 games, but Doc will give a couple back to rest the starters. I think our regular season will be similar to last season's Spurrs.
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

While I agree our second unit (with a healthy Jeff Green... knock on wood) is probably the best in the NBA, it wouldn't be a playoff team on its own. They'd win maybe 25 games.

Better than the Bobcats  ;)

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
I'll go with 57-25.  Depth is our greatest asset, and knowing the injury bug this team has had since '09, we are going to need all the depth we can get.

64 wins if PP KG and RR can stay healthy, 55 if they have some issues during the season.

The only way they get 60 plus wins is if they stay healthy AND take every regular season game seriously AND if doc doesn't rest key guys on every back to back. These things aren't gonna happen. We will get about 52-57wins.

you guys are way way tooo conservative this team will win 66 games going away. If they want to go record setting then the Bulls record in jeopardy.

Not as good as the 08 team.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Not nearly as good as the 08 team and the Conference is much better than it was in 08.  Team won't even get close to 60 wins.  It certainly may do more than the 48 I said, but I would be totally stunned if Boston wins more than 55 games.  Like fall out of my chair shocked.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

55-60 wins.

Very San Antonio-ish season.

Perfect storm of health and maybe we hit 55.   60 seems like a major longshot.  If something happens to KG, we could fall below .500.

Come on now -- perfect storm of health and you'd have to say 60 isn't a major longshot.   But, I'd say a perfect storm of health IS a major longshot.
