I didn't add Oden because so far I have read that he is taking the season off to rehab and not feel pressure to rush back.

I also didn't add Murphy because he lacks the strength to play center. The C's are already loaded with forwards they can slide to the 5 when they go small. Also I can't imagine Ainge bringing back any of the previous failed pickups.

his 6-11 250. big enough is my book, he likes to shoot three's but he can board also.

Murphy was terrible as a Celtic. He got pushed around and didn't produce many if any positives. He was a little better as a Laker since they had Gasol and Bynum and eventually Jordan Hill to cover the 5.

I'd almost rather have re-signed Hollins than pursue Troy Murphy.  I know I'd rather give Stiemer the BAE.  Murph is terrible.

Troy Murphy isn't coming back here.  It didn't work out for either the Celtics or for him.

Does anyone else think of Ryan Anderson when talking about Troy Murphy?

When Troy Murphy was at his most productive for Indiana. That contract New Orleans gave Anderson vs Golden State overpaying Murphy.
