  vs
Boston Celtics (2-0) vs Sacramento Kings (1-3)
Thursday, July 18
6:30 PM ET
NBA-TV, CSNNE
Thomas and Mack Center, Las Vegas, NV

As a testament to the play of the Celtics' team,  the game will be shown live on NBA-TV.  Originally, the schedule was for this game to be shown on tape delay at 3:00 AM.  Instead, they moved this one to be shown live and the Cavs/Timberwolves game has been moved to the 3 AM slot.  Also, for those who get CSNNE, you will have the treat of having the game televised by the Celtics announcers on that channel as well.

The Celtics face the Kings as they try to keep their unbeaten record in Vegas alive.   The Kings are playing in their final Vegas team and would love to salvage a 2-3 record for the week.  The Celtics are going to need to play well to win this because the Kings are going to try to end the week on a high note.

An individual matchup to watch in this game is 6'9" Thomas Robinson, who was the 5th pick in the draft, vs the Celtics' first round pick, Jared Sullinger.  Robinson is averaging 14 points and 8 rebounds per game in Summer League while Sully is averaging 10.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.  Should be a fun game to watch.

celts summer roster thin now. With Sean Williams in the lineup, looks like the celts only traded jjj, moore and 2nd round pick?

Williams has been traded.  He isn't in the lineup.  Melo is starting

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Give Christmas the last guard spot, and look for a center to end this off season in style!
I like Marcus Smart

Doc Rivers on NBA TV says Christman and Jamar Smith are two kids "we didn't draft but we love", said Christmas will likely be in camp with team.
