Ugly game.
We need to play better D, they are shooting 59% from the floor.

Is it me or these SL Celtics' guards does not want to dump the ball down low?

I've seen Melo and Sully get good position down low and never get the ball.

I mean it's basic, your big man seals position, give him the ball, don't care how good he is. The guards are just trying to shoot.

thats why ive been saying wait until we see a guy like sully playing with rondo

Thought we would go 10-0 in the Summerleague this year. Not so likely after that half  :'(

No PGs and they are all trying to play their way on the team.

Funny too because Sully is a better passer than any of them from what I saw.

Here's a quote from Lue in Monday's Herald, and I will submit to you that Moore has not been as successful this week as people have been crediting him:

“Doc knows he can makes shots and score the ball,” Lue said. “But right now there’s the opportunity for him to play some backup point. This is a great opportunity to show that he can play backup point. We know he can make shots and score the ball.”

so now I know whats its like to be the Lakers/knicks/Magic/any team without a real pg playing against the Celtics and Rondo. We have a bunch of chucking combo guards and the Pistons have Knight out there...

Before today the Pistons had the second best record in the SL.

This is just plain ugly.
Sullinger needs to get down on the post, stop shooting.

Just from the box score, the good news is

- 3J leading in points (and minutes) and tied for boards on 4-7 shooting, with his man held to a modest 2-5;

- Melo with 3 boards and 2 blocks in 11 minutes, with at -4 the only single digit "-" of the last two years' rookies;

- Christmas still plugging along, with 2-3 shooting, 4 boards, 2 assts and a steal; and,

- EM actually giving as many shot opportunities to 3J as to himself, at 8 apiece.

Lue wants to win.

Started the 2nd half with his best rotation of Moore, Christmas, Joseph, Johnson and Sullinger.
