I'm not a DeRozan fan and Ed Davis has been a disappointment.

Good trade for Toronto if they're going to "win now", and bad one for Philly for not getting any pieces for Iggy. Though lineup (frees turner) and salarywise I'd get why they did it.

I mean..that's got some real possibility to hurt people. Elite perimeter defense (is there a better team out there besides Miami?), the potential for very capable 3pt shooting, very good slashers in Lowry/AI, low post scoring in AI and Valanciunas..

I'd say its likely a small head above the current sixers, before the trade.

Philly gives all the talent in this deal. Calderon is a mediocre point guard, Derozan is a highly overrated prospect, and Davis has shown potential but isn't a starter. Good deal for Toronto they get better, Philly loses a veteran gets younger and worse.

I'm a really big Iggy fan so it's a good move, but I'm with Faf on Bargs being just awful.  That dude is a joke.

They've been trying to groom him into some Kobe/McGrady/Carter-esque player. He doesn't have the natural scoring ability. If he was given a smaller more specific role I think that would do wonders for his development. Toronto has created another inefficient chucker, there's still hope he can be something more but It's not going to be what people wanted/expected.

I like the trade for both teams. The Atlantic has a lot of pg talent now by the way.

Even at his age Kidd will help the Knicks. Then Rondo, Holiday, Lowry and Deron? That's a lot of competition night in and night out.
