The salaries seem to match-up pretty evenly. What do you guys think about this deal. Utah has Kanter/Favors that they have to develop, and I'd love to bring Big Al back to Boston.

Would love to see the thread title include the word "idea".

Assuming the trade would work via the CBA (I don't think it would), I think the trade would leave the bench too thin. Greater need for both Green and Bass to back up the F spots than Al.

Sorry. Fixed.

Jeff Green can't be sign-and-traded, since he wasn't on our roster at the end of season.

TP. The sign and trade ideas for Kristic and Green are popping up everywhere - this piece of info might need to be stickied at the top of the forums. LOL.

Can't be done, but good thought.  Always good to receive the best player in the trade.

What about Bass and AB for Milsap?

KG / Milsap / Pierce / Ray / Rondo

with Steisma / Sullinger / Green / Terry off the bench... try and add one more center (Kristic, Camby, etc.)

Or if you want more athleticism in the starting 5: KG / Milsap / Green / Ray / Rondo with Pierce and JET off the bench.

  • Anything is possible!
Can't happen but like the Idea aswell

I'm pretty high on both Big Al Jefferson & Paul Millsap but don't wanna give up to much. I think they can use a AB or Bass but I'm not sure about giving up AB.

After wathching AJefferson dissmal development and almost non-existant defense for the past few years, I am not sure I want him back.  For one, we are playing in a conference with the best combo wings in the sport - in Wade and LeBron - and so I think our priorities should be to improve our wings not ship them out.  Now, if we get AJefferson for BBass, sure.  Just don't include JGreen in the trade.

Also, if you bring AJ back, just make sure he plays at the 4.  He is such a hole at the 5, it is rediculous....
