Seriously? People actually WANT Nick Young?

I sincerely doubt anyone who wants him has ever seen him play. He is absolutely terrible. He can't defend, rebound, pass, or play off the ball. His greatest skill is shooting, BUT HE ISN'T EVEN A GOOD SCORER. Look at his shooting splits! He is an inefficient chucker, who can't do ANYTHING else, and all of his advanced metrics are in the gutter. Why on earth would you want this kid?

I mean, people are actually saying this kid has talent? No. He doesn't. He sucks. I live in DC and have seen him play A LOT. His ceiling is a poor man's Nate Robinson. We can do MUCH better.

Assuming ray goes to Miami for nothing. Bass and green both sign for 6-7 mill. The c's should still have 4-5 mill for a free agent. That should be enough for nick young. Additionally, that will allow them to still have the BAE.

Arguably, three of these guys are better that Young. One could also make the argument that Young is better than anyone on that list. 

No one could make the argument that almost out of the league scrubs like Sasha or Von Wafer is better than Nick Young.

Consider me a Nick Young hater and I don't really want him as a Celtic.  But wow, he is better than half of that list.

We will be over cap and won't have money to sign FA's we don't have birdrights to - we can go over cap to resign Ray/Bass/Green. The only we get Nick Young is via sign & trade (I've heard LAC have interest in Ryan Hollins), the biannual exception, or the vet's minimum.
