  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
The question is is Houston going to do that? Because on the Celtics' side tht is easy.

Would need to be a three team deal with a SF/SG going to Houston.

Ok, it may be a stupid idea, but just out of interest, will scola help this team?

he played similar minute as Bass but are way more productive: 15.5p, 6.5r, his defense is not worse than Bass, last but not least, he never get injured!

My answer is no.  Scola's knees are in bad shape and his numbers dropped last year partially because of it....

How 'bout Ray Allen for Scola?  If Ray just signs in Miami or LA, we're not going to get anything in return, and Scola would be a decent pickup.  Although, that's a lot of money Scola is owned for the next two seasons.

EDIT: Obviously, Ray would have to be interested in Houston, which has not been mentioned as one of his preferred destinations.  If he worked with the C's for a S&T, though, hw could get paid a fair amount more than Miami could give him.

I thought Scola's play dropped off by quite a lot last season.

Then there is the large contract which is problematic. Undecided on whether he'd be a good acquisition or not.

And obviously he's not interested in Houston.  He wants to win a championship and can't do that with Houston...

True, but weirder things have happened.  And Houston's been acquiring a lot of potential trade assets; their circumstances could change quickly.
