This is't surprising.  Whenever there is someone who is a real candidate to slide because of an injury like that, you never know where the slide will stop.  And it is always really embarassing when guys are still in the greenroom when you get into the 20's.

Huge get if Ainge lands him at 21. Just a straight steal & could loom huge for this team going forward.

My dream haul would be landing Terrence Ross + Jared Sullinger.  Ainge would have to trade up for Ross, and Sullinger would have to fall drastically.  Extreme long shot, but crazier nights have happened.

Not like ESPN doesn't enjoy showcasing the mysery though.  Man they must have showed Brady Quinn a million times when he was just sitting there by himself as he was free-falling(it was him right??)

I kinda give credit to the guys making the decision here.  Spare the kid the embarassment as you said.  Kinda suprising they didn't want to leverage that into a story.

I just read this on twitter and was going to post, I do give the league credit for not wanting to set him up for the drama of being the last guy in there.

I really hope he falls to 21 or danny jumps up a few spots to draft him.

I agree.  He was the best guy on a Final Four team two years in a row. He is only a Sophomore.

That would be such a nice value if he makes it to #21.  One of the few guys in the draft I could see making an impact on the  team right away.
