I say, good.  What a sham.  I followed the trial fairly closely, and I think the jury got this one right, in terms of reasonable doubt.

such an utter and complete waste of taxpayer money.  seriously, who cares if the players took drugs to improve performance?  the people running the game didn't care because it put casual fans in the seats and increased revenues and fans in general didn't care because they continued to pay for a Edited for profanity.  Please do not do it again.ized product.

Of course I think Selig is the evil, incompetent close of Stern so I'm a tad biased/jaded against any integrity they're trying to maintain in the sport

They should fine the attorneys when they bring a case against someone and don't win the second time.   We the tax payers spent millions on this and Bonds for what?   Because Congress tbought they got lied to?   No wonder we are in debt...

I couldn't agree more, Coach.

Also what Celtics4ever said.

The entire mitchell report was a shamockery....Selig, IMHO, is a piece of excrement. Way worst than Stern.  He milked the steroid era for everything it was worth and then trashed PEDs when it became popular to trash it.

These trials were a product of a complete sham.

I'm no fan of Clemens.  But I"m glad he got off.

Seriously,

This whole thing should have been handled with MLB, the league, the owners, managers and players all apologizing for the steriod era.  It's not like the fans and the media didn't know what was going on.  We all wanted to watch Sosa-McGuire, Bonds hit the long ball.

As for Roger, he should have had a broken bat thrown at him by members of Congress and then washed his mouth out with soap for lying.

Save the taxpayers money.

But don't think that Clemons juiced on gatorade....
