Paul Pierce was a huge laker fan. Where did he went? That's right. The team he used to hate as a kid, this team.
Same can be said about that kid. He might learn to love the team he will play for. Let's just hope it will be the C's.

Muhammad and Noel undoubtedly have hall-of-fame potential.
Obviously Muhammad's strength is offense and Noel's is defense.
Who will be better to build with? The deciding factor is obvious to me: who can develop the other side of their game better? If Muhammad shows MJ or Kobe-level defensive prowess, he has the whole package. If Noel develops a consistent mid-range jump shot and low-post repertoire, he has the whole package.
The only other question mark is intangibles and leadership. Both look positive in that department.

I would much rather wait until Noels played against one legit D1 center/PF before we call him a star.
The guy has not even been in a practice for Kentucky, maybe we should wait.

Bring back the territorial draft!!
I think this would be about the coolest idea ever. It's actually such a cool idea that I tend to do this in my franchise modes in video games. If some really awesome player from USC is getting drafted, you can be sure he's going to an LA team in my game, haha.

Maybe if the Cs make some trades around the time of the draft to move up.

Can I just go on record with this?
Kevin Garnett is healthy, + still one of the 20 best players in the league, + only 36, and + no one ever retired for whom the previous 3 things are true. + Also, Doc Rivers is signed for four years, and + all of his teammates who matter (except possibly Allen) will be back next year. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- = Kevin Garnett will not retire.
This.

Didn't know where to put it, but Nerlens looks done for the season... probably an ACL tear as well! Wishing the best for the kid, he's very talented and I hope this injury doesn't take a toll on his NBA career! Btw, considering the fact that he has openly said he's a Celtics fan, no big surprise there...

Yikes! If so, that puts a major question mark next to him on draft night. ACL tear for an undersized big who relies on his quickness and explosiveness. A lot of added risk there.

he might fall low enough on the draft for us to pick him up? or he goes to school for another year.

I wouldn't care if he tore his ACL, MCL, or everything. I would still trade up to get him (Now it just wouldn't have to be as far and would have a realistic chance of happening, I know Charlotte has two picks in this draft, as long as Portland stays above 12, and they want to trade out) . I'm sure there's other teams thinking the exact same thing, with a more realistic chance, but it would be sweet to see him come home to Beantown.

It would obviously depend somewhat as to how bad of an injury it is, and if he chooses to come out at all, but I would be surprised if he dropped that far. A lot of NBA teams draft based on future projection anyway. He was one of about 4-5 players being talked about at #1 -- I doubt he goes there now, obviously, but I also think he doesn't drop far out of that top 5.
Tough for the kid though. He was a game-changer for that team.
