Di natale has made  quite a presence so far... that's the difference between a proffesional  footballer and a kid playing ball

UGH!

This match is starting to turn into a typical Euro flop-fest.

and just to clarify, it's going both ways.  it's truly the one part of soccer i hate

Good match.

Both teams missed opportunities, escaped blunders.

I'd say a draw is a good result for both teams.

Ahh, Jelavic is starting for Croatia. I thought he was meant to be a bench player for this team.

Croatia's skill and talent against Ireland's hustle and bustle.

Worst possible start

Shay Given should have saved that. Bad goalkeeping. Soft goal.

That Croatia team won me over.  They play a really attractive style of soccer.  I'd love to see them knock off either Spain or Italy and advance to the next round.

Croatia has always been a very skilled team playing very attractive attacking football. But usually the luck focus and maybe motivation. I`d rather have them in the quarterfinals than Italy

On a general note we`ve watched pretty good games so far. Nice football , a lot of goals, many mised chances ... The most boring games were imo he most anticipated ones... Germany - Portugal and Spain - Italy (especialy the first half)

Agree about Germany-Portugal.  Both those teams were underwhelming as far as I could tell.  This bodes well for my Danes.

Ah darn it, I thought the France-England match was the later one today. Missed the first half.

I doubt England will be much fun to watch with Roy Hodgson there but France have a bit of fantasy to them.

That was an exciting match between Russia and Poland today.  I was so glad to see Poland get the equalizer.  What a strike by "Cuba" (I'm not even going to attempt to spell his name).  I would have loved to have seen Poland get a game winner late.  They really seemed to start to open it up.

Germany - Netherlands up next.

Quite frankly, I almost wish Germany would lose, there are just too many things wrong with the team (or better: german football in general), and a group exit would give us a chance to re-evaluate some of them. Then again, the public opinion would probably turn on the few things that are worth rooting for.

Meh, who am I kidding? Itīs against the dutch, of course I want Germany to win.  :P

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
