Hoping for an epic Finals. Italy will tame powerhouse Spain.

Go Italia!

Backbreaking goal to concede right before halftime.

I can't see Italy coming back from this.

I have to admit, Casillas has made a couple of huge saves that could have changed the complexion of the 1st half.  If just one had gone in we've got a match.

This 2nd half s gong to be a prolonged coronation for Spain.

Disgusting!  Absolutely disgusting!

Congratulations to Spain. A terrific achievement. Not just Euro 2012 but three on the trot along with the 2012 World Cup and Euro 2008. Incredible.

A 4-0 victory over Italy too. Decisive result. Great way to win a Championship.

Some bad luck for Italy today, but Spain was clearly the better team. If the injury bug hadn't hit, it likely would've been a much closer result 2-0 or 2-1, as Italy was pressing at the beginning of the second half

The final score is a bit unfair to Italy but Spain definately deserved the win. It`s amazing that Spain won the trophy without realy stepping on the gas and with 2 very important players missing the tournament!

I wish Raul was part of this team.

Besides Spain Del Bosque made history too. He has won CL,EC,WC ... I can`t think of anyone else with this kind of collection

But hats off to Italy too. Pradelli had to change his roster a few days before the tournament because of the fixed games scandal , without big stars and still managed to advance to the final. They could have given Spain harder time but their were a little unlucky. The second goal just before half time , DiNatale wasting two good chances to cut it to one goal, two injuries .... I feel a bit sad for them
