Really no football (soccer) topic for the EURO 2012?

I'm from Germany and therefore i want to say great sports day. First watch Germany vs. Portugal having BBQ and drinks, then go out and have some celebration party and finally i watch the Cs win.

Go Football fans, come out and predict the EURO 2012 Champ.

My guess: obviously Germany

Germany looks really good but I really like Spain, despite not having David Villa, with him they'll be the favorites.

I think Spain, Germany and Holland are the favourites with France having an outside shot at it.

I am thinking Spain is due for a loss. Especially without Villa and since Torres is still searching for his best form. Germany and Holland look the two most likely victors to me.

I am going to go with Holland. Van Persie to be leading goalscorer and player of the tournament.

I think Spain is the clear favorite, but my dark horse is Russia after the beating they gave the Czech Republic.

Is it just me are all four of those teams vulnerable at the back?

I wonder if we'll see another Greece type team win the tournament instead.

Very good win for Denmark. They rode their luck at times but they pulled it out. Great start for them.

Looking forward to this Germany vs Portugal match.

Why not watch Greece doing it again? :D

I don`t think spain will repeat.... Their key players performing in the highest level during the last 4 years non stop. Xavi and Inesta had an average (for their standards) season , Villa is out , Puyol is out .... Most of the players aren`t that "hungry" ....

France looks good , they have a big undefeated run.
Germany imho is the favourite to win it but i won`t be surprised if they fail to qualify ...Their group is tough and Denmark has already made things very very complicated there.

Holland will fail miserably imho ... Too much intrigue in their locker room ...

My underdog is Russia but in the quarterfinals they`ll have a very tough opponent

A nice start to my sports day.  Surfing the TV earlier and came upon the Denmark-Holland game.

Great win by the Danes.  They looked tough and together against the star power of the Dutch.  I loved it, an excellent appetizer to tonight's ball game.

DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

  • Anything is possible!
So whole my country is a mess now, an unexpected loss from the Netherlands against Denmark. I somehow had a bad feeling before this tournament.

Spain & Germany are the favourites for me. It will be extremely hard to get through the group now for us. If we manage we got a shot at it. Maybe we just like the hard way, like the celtics.

My day would be still perfect if the C's win! It's all about green, I'm not bleeding orange, I'm bleeding green.
