My friends:

Please note the following is what I *think* not what I hope.

For tonight's game, all I can hope for is the Celtics play well enough to force the refs to show their corruption. After all, if this is a repeat of game 6, the refs will have nothing to do with the loss. I am convinced right now (at 7:09PM) that the Celtics cannot and will not win this game no matter how well they play. I am convinced the refs will not let it happen. I suspect this is based on criteria coming from the NBA front office.

This does not in any way change my love for this team, its tradition or this particular unit. I hate to see them go out like this, but I will remain proud of them.

I know the Celtics have overcome ref bias before, but I simply do not see it happening tonight. I do not see the refs allowing it to happen. I actually expect a hell of a performance from the Celtics tonight.

I am not South Beach. I am a Celtic.

Well I'm trying something different and not watching the game at home. Going to a sports bar and telling off any heat fans I see.
Peace through Tyranny

Getting really excited for the game now.

Either we see what's probably the last game for the Big 3, or the C's move on to the Finals and we get to see how far this ride really goes.  It's a special night no matter what the outcome - though we all want the second one.

And the Heat are a good nemesis.  They're like our evil twins.  It's gonna be a hell of a game.

Very intrigued to see how Miami come out in a Game Seven.

I don't think they've been in this situation before. Their first round this year was a five game series as was their three Eastern Conference matchups last year. Second round was a six gamer but no gamer. The Finals against Dallas, the Game Six, along with Game Six in this series, have been the only times they have faced elimination.

Boston, on the other hand, have been through a whole bunch of these over the last few years. What is this, the 8th seven game series they've played? Something crazy like that. Tried and trusted. Experienced.

So yeah, very interested to see how Miami star-studded lineup handles this. Whether they'll be able to handle the moment. Will they split and try and do it on their own? Stick together and fight as a team? Be composed on the ball or rushed and panicked? Will it be all about scoring or will they maintain their defense and rebounding?

I think Miami are the team that really have all the questions to answer heading into tonight's game. Seems a lot more relaxed and confident for the Celtics.
