This is going to be a massacre... not even close.  Miami is going to destroy us.  I'm not watching it live... going to watch "Snow White and the Huntsman" instead.   I'll watch the blowout on hyper speed on DVR wheN I get back.

Game 6, though... we might have a shot in game 6.

didnt you say the same thing for game 4???

they might get blown out, or they might not. thats why the games have to be played

And if I'm not mistaken we were going to be blown out of Game 2, and early in Game 3 the season was 'over'.

Not sure what this brings to the conversation especially from a fan who provides great observations when he's not making gratuitously pessimistic predictions. It is a little irritating, but maybe it's just LarBrd33's sense of humor and his method of anti-jinx.

Of course, C's may lose bad tonight -- it is inevitable that if the same type of prediction is made every game it'll eventually be correct.

Well...we have the majority of the NBA fan support hands down.

Its just that the media, ESPN , ect ect ..ect  and Vegas odds makers don't give us much of a chance.

He is obviously not a gambler and goes with odds on favorite.

I expect alot of technicals, Doc may be tossed ,  its not gonna be pretty basketball.  The cHeat are a bunch of ruffneck and thugs playing one on one street ball with a sissy for a  coach.

If we can KEEP it close , not let em blow us out ..and just be there with our Captain PP , Ray and KG all still alive and well  in the game....we'll have a decent  chance.
I'm on a 5 week consulting gig in Charleston, and I can't believe how many Celtics fans there are! I wear my C's hat everyday to work and people actually have stopped me on the street to talk about the series. Being from Boston, I guess I stick out like a sore thumb...it's also refreshing to see a ton of people excited about the NBA--

No absolute haters in the ref crew, so that's something. Not worried about this one,  for no particular reason.  just a sense that the C;s can blunt the edge of HRH/Tuffy and score enough to get by. Not worried about Bosh. Step it up and go.

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Expect complete unlikingness from the Heat and their fans (and that annoying announcer they have). We have to go out there like its war. This one puts a stranglehold on whoever loses. We could be a game away fellas!

Come on Celtics! Never quit believing in you guys!

BEAT THE HEAT!!!!

Listening to Jon Barry and Chris Broussard continue to be so confident in their Heat victory predictions makes me want to win this one all the more.

Have they predicted the Heat to lose once this year?

I'm sure they've had the Heat each of the 5 times we have beat them this year.
