I like that they aren't counting the Celtics out, because the Celtics can do this. They can beat the Heat, and move on tot he finals.

Cs in 6.  Miami has no answer for Rondo and KG and that will outweigh their match-up advantages, their interior defense is beatable, and they are not a good rebounding team either.  I like this match-up better than the Sixers.

Celtics in Six, Heat in Seven.. I think Bosh will be back in the middle of the series, but it won't matter much..
WE HAVE TO STEAL GAME 1 OR 2! Also, the Celtics haven't lost 2 straight games in the playoffs so far while the heat won three straight to eliminate Indiana, so, this is gonna be interesting..

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Shaq is always on the Cs side. Kinda weird when you figure he only had what...40 games played in green? Always backing rondo kg and pierce

when shaq was healthy, we had the best starting 5 in the past decade. yes im going there. even at 40, he was killing it with rondo's assist machine pumping him perfect lobs.

i mean seriously, how many starting lineups in history can you say had 5 future hall of famers? (4 1st ballot, 1 budding)

Best starting 5 in the past decade? I'd put the 08 clerics against that team every night of the week.

the thing is, shaq on defense was great. he was a threat down low, and on offense he was a legitimate option and the best 4th option in the game.

so shaq brought both sides, while perks offense wasnt quite as good. i love the 08 celtics, but shaq's greatness on our team is underrated

I dont know...as i see it:
2011 Rondo >>>>> 2008 Rondo
2011 Allen < 2008 Allen
2011 Piece = 2008 Pierce
2011 KG <<< 2008 KG
2011 Shaq >> 2008 Perk

Ray Allen in 08 >>>ray Allen in 2010 (quicker, better on d
Pierce same as ray
Kg, not even close.
Obv rondo is better now, but you're talking about 3 HOF'ers in their prime vs 4 clearly past the hill

Ray Allen and Paul Pierce in 2011 were better than 2008. Particularly Ray who in 2008 was coming off ankle surgeries.

I guess career highs from Ray from an efficiency standpoint means nothing, and Pierce was a monster last year.
