The Magic were foolish to get rid of Stan Van Gundy. He's a great coach, and I hope the Clips grab him and put VDN out to pasture. He knows a lot more about how to motivate his players to play at a high level than Frank Vogel ever could.

That would be very very nice for the Clippers. I'd love to see SVG and CP3 together. Help DeAndre Jordan mature as a defensive anchor. Get the Clips playing effective team defense. That would be a serious acquisition for LAC.

I'd like to see Stiemsma have another good game tonight. Get back in a groove in time for Miami.

Having Stiemsma's shot-blocking presence in the paint is going to be very important against the Heat. Need someone who can maintain that rim-protection while Garnett rests. Can't let Wade and Bron get in a groove whenever KG takes a breather.

Rondo, KG and Pierce are getting double and even triple teamed this series, its really weird. Especially Pierce, double and triple teams have really taken him out of this series.

Sixers are basically telling Bass and our role-players to beat us with wide open jump shots. Lets hope they can make them, cause this swarming smothering double-triple team defense the Sixers are playing is making this series really ugly.

The main reason I hope that that strategy fails is because it is a good one for these Eastern Conference teams.  If we get one more semi-flukey Bass type performance, Miami/Indy will probably overvalue our role players a bit.  If we get some spacing for Pierce and KG, I really like our chances to be competitive.

The big problem is that I'm not sure the Spurs will be any less effective either way, assuming we make it to the Finals. They're just on another level this year.

The hilarious thing with Kobe is that he is STILL defiant...he won't concede that changes need to be made for LA.

Okay, Kobe. Keep telling yourself that. Don't change a thing, so that the Thunder can beat your wallaby asses year after year.

Screw the Lakers. They won 5 championships in the previous decade; I think they can survive a decade without any. I hope they ship Pau Gasol to Cleveland and sign Antwan Jamison to a 5 year contract.

Speaking of which...THANK GOD ANTWAN'S CONTRACT HAS FINALLY EXPIRED. WE NO LONGER HAVE TO PAY A MATADOR 16 MILLION EACH YEAR. We desperately have to strike oil in the lottery twice. I was thinking that ...really can't stableizethat arm socket till he has an operation.  Both he and Ray need operation to get well.
