So, I've been on this site for almost four years now. I took a break because of school and such. I logged on my forums for the first time in months, and somehow my local time is 4am, but I am in Boston, MA right now where its almost 1am. Currently 12:56am. I looked everywhere to fix this, but can't find it on the profile settings. :(

I just need it fixed because its bothering me that it keeps saying that the latest post was at 4am, and its throwing me off. :(

Thanks!

Mizzy

Same thing happened to me maybe a month or two ago (99% sure Eastern Time was always default).  I corrected it and then a few days later it mysteriously became skewed again.

If you want to give it a shot go back to the profile settings page and look under the "modify profile" drop down menu.  Click on "look and layout preferences" and you can apply a time offset so that you're squared up.  Hope it works for you better than it did for me.

Thanks Mgent! I was able to put the offset at -4, and it now is at the right time. Thanks so much!!

I seem to be having this issue and I couldn't locate the time off set feature that I have used in the past.

Anybody feel like fixing this?

My CB clock has changed on its own multiple times over the past year, so I gave up trying to fix it.  It changed again a few months ago (probably with a forums update or something) and seems to have stabilized, so I guess I'm willing to give it another go.

If I could some how get it offset again I'd really appreciate it.

Trying to draw some attention to this one last time.  I think there was another thread about it last month too.  Lost cause?

sorry, I thought you guys had figured this out - can you give me a one paragraph synopsis of what's wrong?  Is it that you can't find the place to change the time zone or that you change the time zone and it switches back?

Both.  It used to change on me, but that has seemed to stop.  Now I can't even find the time zone option.

We're working on this issue.

In the interim, anybody who has an issue with this please PM me how many hours you need the forum off-set (i.e., +3 hours, -5 hours, etc.)  No promises, but I may have found a work around.
