I think this is a pretty important game.

I don't rate this Atlanta team highly and do not think much of their chances of winning this series ... but if the Hawks win tonight, they are certainly capable of winning 2 out of the remaining 5 contests. There would be a real chance of Boston losing the series. I'd still favour Boston to win it but the odds of them doing so would narrow considerably.

Big game.

We can't go down this easy, beginning of the end of the Big Three era ousted by the Hawks?

Hell no we take this convincingly Celtics 4-1

Premature.  MP starting puts more pressure on Joe-J and Brad can harass Heinrich. C's have won with this rotation before.  Let's see how they come out of the gate before writing the post-mortem.

If they play dead and lifeless , the outccome will be the same.  Atlanta disn't play very good really.  You have to but the ball in the hole .  Our stars couldn't get it done.  we'll see.

I think Ray Allen is done...at least for the season. Just like KG's bone spurs, these aren't going away without surgery. Given how much rest he's had, the fact that they're still this painful (he couldn't even shoot on the floor today) tells me not to count on Ray playing at all this postseason. That will make it 4 straight postseasons with a major injury to our team - KG/Powe, Perk (and unhealthy KG), Shaq/Rondo, and now Ray (and Wilcox/Green, if we're going longer-term). This sucks. Makes me cherish 2008 that much more.

Yeah it doesn't look good even after another cortisone shot and plenty of rest.  Doc said this today according to Paul Flannery ---

Quote
Doc said Ray Allen looked great yesterday and then he couldn't walk much today. "We just don’t know what to do."

Let's go C's.

Hoping for an inverted yesterday; a quick lead and never let go.
