Was it intentional?  Does Rondo get a suspension?  Oh no.....

Absolutely it was intentional.

It'll be up to the league.

It was intentional, and he deserves a suspension.  However, I'm hoping the NBA shows some discretion.

The tripping of feet is the only chance we got.

Oh, that was intentional.  No doubt.

I would only expect a one game suspension at the most. I mean some of the calls tonight were...interesting. But expected being away from home. That call was huge, and the NBA needs to realize in the heat of the moment in a playoff game, emotion may overwhelm some players.

Agreed. We're going to need a break, because that one clearly is a one-game suspension.

Too quick too jump to conclusions.  Minimal contact when he was off-balance. The ref had his back to him when he ejected him.

An ejection is sufficient penalty.

No suspension. The bump was too tiny to warrant one. A hefty fine instead.

You're trying to excuse bumping an official?

I'm say 90% chance there is a suspension, but it will be no more than one game.

As I said in the game chat.....if Metta World Peace gets only 7 games for his antics against James Harden and Rondo would "possibly" get 1 game for that "bump", there is a serious discrepancy and the spectrum is awfully skewed.

The throwing the ball incident, earlier in the year, is not going to help things.

1 game suspension... mark it down.  You do NOT TOUCH an official under any circumstances.  Never...

He lifted his chest right before contact and walked off the court with no hesitation.

He knew what he did and he knew he was gone.

Idiotic. Just plain dumb.

It doesn't matter how hard it was, it was the intent.  It's pretty clear it wasn't just a bunch of bodies in a crowd. He went after him and turned in to him.  Let's look at this without the green glasses please.  Didn't matter if he hit him as hard as Artest; it's about the action.
