Do you like Alan Tudyk? Do you remember when Jeremy Sisto was funny? All this and more could be yours.

You mean Wash? Alpha? The most underappreciated 30-something actor of the new millennia?

Yeah, I'm familiar...

I'll check it out tomorrow.

Haha! I really like this cartoon. It's on HBO and it's really random, funniest stuff that leaves me laughing out loud multiple times.

I knew i had forgoten something !
Mad Men.

Even if you don`t like the plot you watch it for January Jones :D

In terms of drama / crime shows, I enjoy Justified.  It's just really great acting, with well-drawn characters.  I've heard The Killing and Mad Men are both excellent, but I've never really watched either.

In terms of comedies, my wife and I enjoy New Girl and Modern Family.

It is a pretty solid show.  So are Happy Endings and New Girl if you are looking for comedies.

The funniest show on television (by far) is Impractical Jokers on Tru Tv.  My wife and I both laugh hysterically every episode for 30 minutes straight.  My face literally hurts when it is over.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's on the air any more, but I feel compelled to throw a shout out to "Flight of the Conchords."  Jermaine and Brett are two of the funniest characters I've ever encountered, and their songs are brilliant.

You can probably get it on Netflix, or find their songs all over YouTube.

I frequently go the library and look for stuff like Newhart, Honeymooners, and Taxi

also the Boston area has a new tv indi channel (I think) that's a little like TV Land. I saw Lost in Space and the 60's Batman with guest star Liberace.  I also take out the Muppets

Modern Family is becoming a chariacature of itself the way the Office did.
