  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Raising Hope is the best sitcom out there.

He meant Community.

My favorites;

Comedies; Always Sunny in Philadelphia
                 Family Guy

Dramas; Boardwalk Empire (even though I was beyond disappointed with the season 2 final)

Not sure how much Fringe you saw, but it definitely has some seasonlong story arcs, not just one-and-done episodes.

Anyway, I recommend you try Alcatraz, The River, and NCIS.

For Comedy, you have to watch Modern Family, New Girl, It's Always Sunny, Archer, and I'm gonna suggest taking a shot at Bob's Burgers. The writing has really picked up for that show.

For Drama, any show on AMC, FX, and HBO is guaranteed entertainment. Though I have no desire to ever watch Mad Men. Watch every episode of Dexter.

Other than the few sitcoms I mentioned, there is absolutely nothing worth watching on network tv anymore. All the best writing is on cable.

When you lose, the easy part is to see who gives up. Giving up is very simple. You basically take your stuff and walk away. To continue to work and to continue to compete is one of the most difficult things, especially when you really don't have anything - KG

I feel like the original writers for Modern Family must have died in a horrible accident and been replaced with hacks. I have a hard time enduring the show these days.

New Girl shocked me. I thought it would be aimed towards women but then they use her roommates so well.

For the best TV, you really need Showtime, AMC and HBO.

I also liked the first two seasons of Glee (yeah, shame on me), but it just got kinda boring lately.

The first season of Glee was a comedy and was funny. Then they abandoned that and decided to become a vehicle for selling mp3s.

What happened to the teacher that framed a student to join his glee club by planting drugs in his locker? They killed the whole dark comedy aspect and instead started performing numbers in public or ending shows with inexplicably extravagant numbers in their practice room.

Raising Hope is the best sitcom out there.

He meant Community.

False.
He meant rules of engagement

This is certainly false.
I checked wikipedia and snopes and it turns out that it is in fact Community.
