This forum is funny. Sometimes it seems like most of the posters are older, and I have to bear that in mind with their posts. Then something like this comes up, and there's 2 pages full of different comic character comparisons lol.

I like the hulk comparison for lebron.

Perhaps the Great American Hero with that super suit that he doesn't know how to use and has to figure it out by trial and error

Lebron would be the Hulk.  Biggest, strongest and unbeatable when angry enough.  But when he's not angry he shrivels down to Bruce Banner.  I guess he could be the opposite of the Hulk too, since Hulk always shows up at the end and closes out the bad guys.
I went with Aquaman because Lebron is unbeatable in his element (3 quarters) but worthless out of it (crunch time). Plus he looks ridiculous. And regardless of how strong he is, no one will respect him. I respect Hulk.
