For any RI residents on this forum, expect to see the rivalry between URI and PC renewed. Definitely a great hire for the URI basketball program, Hurley is the type of young and upcoming coach that can really bring the team to the next level again following 11 mediocre years of Baron.

Definitely looking forward to seeing URI rise up the ranks once again in the college basketball world, it was a long time overdo.

Should be interesting.  surprised Hurley took the job instead of waiting for something bigger.  the A-10 without Temple will be an even lower-rung league than it is now.

good pick up though.  Would have been happy with Al Skinner too since he's proven he can recruit at the school and get to the NCAA tournament.

As a Seton Hall DIEHARD, that is cool. Hurley was never as good as his bro, but solid... pretty sure he had some gnarly depression issues though.

Here's a link to the article from the Projo.  Great hire for URI and really glad his brother will be coming along witht him as an assistant.

The league I think would be better with Butler in it than Temple.

definitely an exciting time his brother coming as well would definitely be a huge upgrade over what URI has had in recent years...

not huge on it but we'll see. as long as holton, powell, and baron stay I'm cool.

A10 gets 2-4 teams in the NCAA every year and that will continue without temple.
