Did anyone notice Clifford Ray? Kings brought him in to work with Cousins.

something odd about how Clifford Ray got fired here. Maybe they found out he was dating Rondo's mom or something.

awesome. Dickerson found someone to interview who is shorter than him, and he was a starter on a team that ran us off the floor

Well that was painful to sit through.  I think I'll start up a marathon of The Wire to move on.

Maybe he criticized small ball. :-\

I'll never understand celticsblog posters going nuts over stuff like whether or not this or that rookie plays in a blowout game. Does anyone think that playing in this situation is going to teach any young player anything worthwhile?

I guess I understand if you think they should play, I just don't understand getting aggro about it.

Because it just goes to show that Doc still doesn't get it.

Get what? That you should play mediocre rookies in sloppy blowout situation because....why?
So we dont run our starters into the ground due to a game tomorrow in altitude we havent seen enough of either rookie to claim they're mediocre playin time can only help

Clifford Ray is the man... I wish he'd still be a part of the Cs to teach Steamer and JJJ.

Good night, here's hoping for a better effort in next game. Go Celtics!

So what happened this game? How on earth did we get beat up like this? I couldn't watch the game or even the game cast tonight.

It was a close game in the 3rd. Doc went to the zone for about 10 possessions. They never missed. I was screaming at my tv for Doc to go back to man. It was a deer in headlights moment. As they are shooting wide open 3 point shots and layups off off high low entry passes, the Celtics were shooting contested 18+ foot jumpers. And for about 5 minutes we never hit one of them.

Very poor coaching IMO.

Also, Cousins looked great in the post. Killing KG, Steamer, and JJJ. During the game they showed, old friend, Clifford Ray sitting near the bench. He was brought in to work with their bigs.

To much youth and young legs and energy.  Our guys looked 50 years old moving in slow motion. They moved around our defense and scored at will. No wonder they beat the Heat . Lakers , Bulls ect.  Cousins is comming along playing under control better.
