 Rondo Point Guard Avery Bradley

Not really concerned if we could put this team together but if we did, and they stayed together for three years how many wins could you see this team getting over three years.

42 wins, 47 wins, and 55 wins is the peak I think.

At the very least I'd like to see a team like this put together.

I think we can get Josh Smith as a FA. He's best friends
 with Rondo.

And a team like this would be out of this world in transition.

 Fun to watch.

I agree, a regular 82 game schedule Celtics easily gets 50-55 wins and a 3-4 seed in the playoffs. But no way they can compete with Miami or Chicago in a 7 game series.
Let's Go Celtics!!

Who is old Garnett? The current one? If so, than I think that team wins +50 games and contends for the title.

If old Garnett is worse than the current McGee, they win 45 games or so the first season and then it all depends on McGee's progression and development (I'm not optimistic) and on how good Brooks is (I've only watched him in 3 games I think and wasn't impressed, but maybe I caught his bad nights). If they become what they're supposed to become, then it's certainly a contender.

That's random.

Yeah I'd say 42 wins, but if you add Larry Bird in his prime you're looking at closer to 60 and a contender.

The real question is... If you trade Josh Smith for Bill Russell in his prime and then swap out Rondo for Tyrone Lu in his prime... how many games does that team win with Larry Bird.  Ok... now how many does it win without Larry Bird? ... ok now replace Marshon Brooks with Marshon Lynch.  What now?

HAD TO COMPLETELY EDIT MY POST BECAUSE I READ THE OP WRONG...

I think they could peak as a contender in year one 60+ wins....

Old KG, MacGee, and Josh Smith would just be a devastating defensive front line. Offensively, they would be super athletic and have the ability to cash in on transition buckets.

I just really believe in a team with size and depth at every position.

Also TP for a completely random topic that I had fun thinking about!

You didn't say who you're snubbing so Larry can play. Or are we talking 6v5? In that case, Championship, I say.
