I think New Orleans would need at least a pick to pull the trigger in that deal and I'm not sure that would be enough. They'd actually add salary with this deal. Kaman is an expiring. The Clippers would probably want to keep one of their backup PGs too.

I don't think Chris Kaman adds enough to give up Ray Allen for him.

Not when we're lacking another option to take Allen's minutes/role.

New Orleans is supposedly considering offering Kaman an extension, so I think they want more than Mo Williams if they trade him.

good point on Kamans expiring contract. And we get foye and bledsoe also and I think Pietrus and foye can fill in for ray. And yes the clippers need a back up PG....Dooling (duh lol) i know, nobody wants him. but clips be lookin at paul, ray, butler, griffin and jordan.......quite the starting 5. and Yes throw in a 2nd round pick to new orleans but they are getting mo, which will help bc I heard they are shoppin jack too

I like this deal for us but not sure if other teams would buy in.

To Boston - Chris Kaman, OJ Mayo, Sam Young

To  New Orleans - Darrell Arthur, Jermaine O'Neal, Keyon Dooling, Clippers #1

To Memphis - Ray Allen

Boston gets a center upgrade and a young 2 guard with upside with a nice role player in Young that Danny coveted during draft time

New Orleans gets Arthur and a #1 pick plus the cap space is not completely lost

Memphis gets the vet guard they need
