Hornets get a pick from Lakers and from Celtics.

The Rondo/ Gasol swap make sense for both teams, but if the Lakers get Kaman and the Celitcs get Jack, you are almost getting two players for one.

Jack fills the void at PG.  Kaman gives LA a replacement big for Gasol.  (Although Kaman and Bynum may not play well together)

No trade is ideal, I guess—I'd love to somehow keep Rondo AND get Gasol  ;D—but I basically like this proposal. Boston gets the big it desperately needs, as well as a solid offensive point guard; I don't know what Jack's defense is like, but he's putting up 15 points and 6 assists a game while shooting 84% from the line and 34% from long distance. Also, the Lakers get the PG they desperately need, plus a replacement big; and the Hornets get something (a couple expirings and a serviceable PG) in return for a player they don't want (Kaman), plus picks to help them rebuild.

I wonder if Carl Landry would make more sense for the Lakers than Chris Kaman.

LA gets worse in this trade though so I do not see it happening.
