ALL they're doing is taking the ball as hard as they can to the hoop and hoping for fouls.  [dang], just let them play out of control!  We're bailing them out over and over again

  • It's all about the TEAM!
Celtics are the ones struggling to stay in the game....

....Not the Pistons.

How are the Celtics not down by 14? The whole Dooling/Bradley backcourt does not work. They go into hude droughts when those two bums are in there.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

8:22 in the second. It will be the last time you don't see Rondo. As long as the game is close.

Why do the refs blow their whistles on every single contact, unless it's JO?

Doc isn't wrong, Wallace just walked into Pierce, never stopping and had an arm out and grabbed him.

Some generosity to the Pistons from the C's and the refs (10 TOs and 21 fts).

15 fouls in 17 minutes, it has to be a record.

C's are shooting 60% from the field, down 9!  ???

  • It's not hard to work hard.
Jermaine O'Neal is quite possibly my least favorite Celtics player of all time. Ricky Davis was more fun to root for.
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."
