Sad. She was one of the best in her prime.
The only color that matters is GREEN

She managed to last a lot longer than Amy Winehouse.

Whitney picked up the habit as an adult.

So sad a dulcet voice silenced forever.

NOW THAT WAS A PERFORMANCE!

Still, though - the timing of such comments, man...

Seriously?

Tell you what...that performance made ME warm inside, especially being that I was 2 years into my enlistment at the time.

Why can't we all just MOURN together.....we all have thoughts about her life and whatnot, but I think that at times like this those type of comments are best kept to ourselves.

I feel very sad for her children at her passing, its not like I'm saying this to them.  Open random (celtics) forum.
She was a great performer no doubt, not knocking her.

Grammys tonight at 8pm EST. There will be a tribute.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Sad, but not particularly surprising.  If anything it's a miracle she lived this long with all of the drug issues she apparently had.
Had a huge amount of talent and kinda took a dump on it. If I were a performer at the Grammys I'd probably be resistant to saluting her or paying tribute to her.

How about saluting and doing tributes to people that take care of their talent?

Erm... isn't that what the whole Grammy thing is all about normally? Praising people who are making the most of their talents?
