Clippers view:
- Mo isn't need as they have 3 reliable PGs already
- Hedo can save them in the SF postition(Caron isn't that reliable)

Lakers view:
- Dwight Howard. Period.
- Bynum has nothing on Dwight

Celtics view:
- Rondo isn't needed since we need a scoring PG. Why? Look at our team statistically in the last 4 wins.
- Dooling is our worst offseason pick-up. IMO Even more than Sasha, Sasha at least showed up in the season more than once.
- Mo brings our PG needs
- Gomes+Barnes increases our depth behind Pierce and Ray

Magic view:
- Gets rid of trading block pests (Hedo and Dwight)
- They would trade Arenas after this deal for a SF
- Would send Nelson to the 6th man role
- Bynum+Rondo=Back to the playoff race

Generally, people around here suggest trades that are wildly in favor of the Celtics. I commend you for doing the opposite.

That is a terrible, terrible trade for the Clippers.  We would give up our sixth man and legitimate scoring threat off the bench for a horrible contract, and help the Lakers get Dwight in the process.  The only good aspect would be dumping the chronically-useless Ryan Gomes, but we don't need to do that trade in order to accomplish that.

I don't think he did :)

But I don't get how Rondo is not a "scoring" point guard. He is not a shooter, but 15 ppg is more than Steve Nash and his fg% is 51.7 (which is elite). Chris Paul makes 16.9 ppg his fg% is 48.6. Deron Williams makes 19.4 ppg on a terrible team and his fg% is 39.6.

interesting.  I don't like the idea of LA getting Howard, and I wouldn't want to assist them to get that done.

Also if we ever traded Rondo, I would hope to get more than that.  I think i would prefer Steve Nash and Channing Frye for Rondo.  Ultimately trading Rondo is probably a bad idea.   He's really good.
