Biedris and Steph Curry. You have to wonder how good we could be with a lights out shooting Point Guard. So lets offer Rajon plus a one to see if we can get a bite.

Curry would be Awesome here,  Pierce, Allen, Curry, Garnett and Bass Is as good a shooting five as your gonna find.

I'd do it.  I love Curry

"dispensable"... relax... Golden State would never do it.  Curry is way too good.

Just incase this did happen you take Kwame Brown, not giving up a first, plus the best player in the trade and take on a bad contract.

Right... and that would make it extremely intriguing for the Celtics.

Rondo 10 mil
Steph Curry - 3 mil
Kwame - 6 mil expiring

The fact that Curry is still on his rookie contract is the reason the Hornets had him at the top of their list in a CP3 trade.  But if they didn't want CP3... they definitely don't want Rondo.

Curry is an otherworldly shooter.  He's a little undersized at SG, but he's probably destined to play there.  The best case scenario for them is to dump Monta Ellis for a pass-first point guard like Rondo.  Unfortunately, Ellis is an overrated ballhog and we definitely wouldn't want anything to do with him.

this is one of the few trades i'd be tempted to pull the trigger on...

as much as i love rondo, what i saw on the floor last night at orlando was a tough basetball team - MENTAL toughness.

of all the qualities i admire about rondo, the one i don't is his sullen attitude.  i really wonder if we could have pulled that win off with rondo on the floor?  just something about him that is amiss... maybe why there's not the interest in him league-wide?  is he truly a hard guy to coach?

but i like curry and biedrin's toughness and size...

  • Rondo = Good
The thing that worries me about Curry is his ankles.  I feel like he's headed for some serious ankle surgery at some point, like, Grant Hill type stuff.

So you would not do it because he may have ankle trouble? What about Ray Allen's bad ankles?

There's a pretty huge distinction there.  Curry has had seven major ankle injuries in two years, including three after off-season surgery.  There are concerns that this could be a chronic condition.

Not to mention there's a difference between signing Allen with 5 good years left in him, and mortgaging your entire team's future on someone who may end up like Brandon Roy.

Didn't GSW turn down an offer of Chris Paul for Curry and wouldn't get involved in a three way with Boston because they didn't want Rondo?

I thought I read that during the whole Chris Paul trade fiasco going on. If its true, why do they suddenly want Rondo now?
