after tonight Brady has almost twice as many post season wins as Manning despite Manning having two extra years of starting NFL football.
It's official. P Manning is just another guy that played during the Brady years

manning...eli. 2-0 head to head
In a head to head situation Eli is a lot better than Tom
2 superbowl victories would suggest otherwise

Weren't you the guy that claimed Sanchez was better than Brady a few years ago because the Jets beat the Pats in the playoffs, and how he Pats should trade Brady?

I suggested they should explore trading him. But not for Peyton. I don't specifically remember saying Sanchez was better than Brady although at the time Sanchez was creating a very respectable post season record. I do remember saying Brady played far worse than some high school kids would have played in that game, which was absolutely true. Basically he played like he was Peyton Manning in a post season game. Glad to know he's moved away from that.

Brady had had better teams and 1coach his entire career there.
Hard to compare these two in a vacuum.

Post-season wins matter, but when it comes to QBs in Brady/Manning stratosphere, I just can't say who is better. Manning (just one example) would have had a win yesterday if Broncos safety hadn't made an almost unfathomable mistake with 30 seconds left. Brady has a win against Eli without the head-catch or Asante drop (and 2 wins if Wes holds on).
My eyes tell me Brady and Peyton is too close to call, and that both are a notch and a half ahead of Eli.

in the regular season they are pretty even I would say..
but you HAVE to take into account the post-season where Manning has something like 8 one and dones?and is now 1-4 after a bye week?

RIght. If Brady had had to play his whole career with Marvin Harrison and Edgerin James and Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne, and Peyton had had David Patten and David Givens and Antoine Smith maybe things would be a little more evened up.

Flacco is a far better QB than Peyton. He's got like 5 road wins in the playoffs now. If he goes on the road to beat Peyton and Tom in back to back weeks then he starts to make it up to highly respectable level.

This is why I can't say Tom is better than Peyton.

Wheaties just cancelled their contract with Peyton Manning. Evidently they're the breakfast of champions. Not the breakfast of one good year.
