Wizards (for obvious reasons) are trying to move Blatche.

Rondo for Wall and Blatche works with the numbers.

Start the rebuild with Wall. Swallow Blatche's four year contract. I know a lot of people here hate Blatche, but throw in someone else from us and get a pick from the Wizards too.

John Wall is horrible, and Blatche has shown no progression at all in like 5 years in the pro's... no thanks...

If I'm dealing Rondo, I'd love to try and pull a Jrue + Turner for Rondo deal, but I doubt PHI would even entertain it

Washington says no.

They are not giving up on their #1 pick and franchise savior one year into his career.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.

2 second rounders? One is enough. I'd do this in a heartbeat.
Blatche is lazy as hell, but there is no denying that when focused he can be a 16 points 8 rebounds a game, but he's hardly focused. But for JO, and a 2nd rounder, deal.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

No way.  Wall is Rondo without the point guard instincts.  No interest in a slug like Blatche either.

Wall is 21 years old.

I don't think the Wizards would trade Wall straight up for Rondo even if their salaries matched.

Blatche would do a lot to open up the Celtics offense. He can be a very effective offensive when he is played in his proper position as a center.

And as I've said in the past, I love the idea of Rondo feeding a skilled offensive center like Blatche. I think those two could have great chemistry.

Wall needs to get away from players like Blatche.

Zach Randolph matured late. He needed new surroundings.

Blatche could also.....or he could be another Blount....

Much better skills than Blount, though. I think that he is worth a shot.

Only way we get a player with Blatche's potential without giving up something real significant is to swallow his four year ($$$-wise it's not horrendous)and gamble on his "attitude".

Forget Wall or Blatche honestly. I rather have Javale McGee! Keep Rondo & Dump a 1st rounder, Johnson, Bradley, & Steamer just to see if they would bite.
