Orlando sends

Ryan Anderson - 2.24
JJ Redick - 6.75
Jason Rich - 5.4
Von Wafer - 1
Larry Hughes - .85
Chris Duhon - 3.25
Quinton Richardson - 2.4

total ~23.4

Bos sends
KG - 21.24
Steisma - .76
Etwan Moore .43
JON - 6.2
1rst round pick - probably the Clipper's

total ~28

What works for us ....we get way younger and better with JJ and Ryan Anderson while shedding about 4 mill. We make a far stronger run at things with Rondo, Pierce, and Ray. We use the $4 to trade for a $4mill player with one year left that someone doesn't want. Preferably a big man. Someone sorta like Krstic. We have two good, affordable young players to build around Rondo with.

What works for them - They get a young shot blocker to go with Howard, but more importantly they get two HOFer to play with him for a year and tutor him, with the promise of using $28 million dollars of KG's and JON's contracts to attract a top player for next year, and if Howard leaves they have $46 mill to play with. They also get a first rounder to help them and they have to face that Glen Davis didn't work for them, so KG is an upgrade there. No way KG and JON turn up a chance to play with Howard in sunny Orlando, especially with that much money at stake.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Boston need to avoid getting stuck with role players on expensive multi-year contracts. That is about $10-12 million a year right there for those three players for the next three seasons.

Ryan Anderson is a free agent this summer. The Celtics can sign him outright without losing assets if they wanted too. He is also due for a large pay-rise on what will undoubtedly become a high risk/reward deal given his offensive potency but underdeveloped defensive game.

no more big contract unless they are YOUNG superstars.   save up the picks and save the money , just put a team out ther . Like the Colts this year snd try and get some decent players from the draft.  the [dang] has bust, no patching is gonna bring anything but a average go no where team .
