Give it a rest. Rondo is the only bright spot this season. People need to stop acting like Rondo ran over the puppies with a lawnmower.

The problem: we're in year 5 of a 3-year plan. This team is old and declining. We're still trying to get juice out of a dried up, rotted lemon. We didn't make any moves this offseason to improve our roster, while a few other teams were able to. We are what we are because we lack quality pieces.
Rondo was just given, in no uncertain terms, a lecture about how the franchise guy of a team responds when the game is on the line in the fourth quarter. And that by someone who he used to beat into submission on a regular basis a couple or so years ago.

You may think Rondo is some sort of a bright spot, but that probably means we're bracing for a long stretch of mediocrity.

The starters averaged 36+ minutes, and they still need to get to Indianapolis. I'm not an optimist. Luckily, everyone can be watching the Pats tomorrow when it gets ugly.

Looked at the box score. Notice how the Bulls starters all had double digit +'s next to their names and all the Celtics Starters (minus Ray) had double digit minus next to them? (Ray was -5 only)

Not ONE of our bench players had a minus next to their names. What does THAT tell you?!

I kind of wish the C's didn't make a comeback in this one, it's only more frustrating to see them get back only to get down by 10 points again and ultimately lose. I thought Doc made the same mistake as he did late against Dallas : he put Ray on the bench, got back to Pierce and suddenly all our comeback momentum faded away because Pierce went in iso mode only to fail badly, and the other team got back to a 10 point lead quickly.

I'm tired of listing the negatives of this team and everybody knows them so I will only list the positives : KG's postmoves in the 2nd half (he was brutal in the 1st I know), Pietrus' impact and energy (I've never seen a guy litterally so HAPPY to be a Celtic, nice to see), Ray's game and incredible midrange shots.

4-6 with a probable loss tonight in Indiana... yay.

It was nice to see Johnson's athletic ability on that dunk.
