JO + Avery + 2nd round pick

  for

Pietrus + Lopez

Phoenix tryed to trade pietrus for a 2nd round pick, they have gortat 3 year deal and frye 2 year deal at Center. Lopez struggled for them last year. They would get rid of pietrus and pick up a young prospect.

Cs get a vet wing and a young big center

I would be down but I doubt Phoenix would be.

Pietrus has a bad knee.

Lopez is younger and healthy but not an upgrade over JO.

Durability and thus availability likely make him an upgrade.

Durable yes, but his offense and defense aren't anything to be excited about. I'll take JO over Robin Lopez for our squad.

I live in Phoenix & work Suns security behind the bench. As a C's die hard I don't want Lopez anywhere near a Celtic uniform! He is clueless & just big. No real skills or feel for the game. He can't even become a fringe all-star around Nash & the brass has quietly soured on him & his development.

Robin Lopez has had injury issues all three of his years in the league, I'm not sure how much of a durability increase he'd be.

Plus his third year was a pretty bad regression from the progress he showed in his sophmore season.
