Come on, you knew it would happen!

Once eligible to be traded, Green & Bradley for Kaman.

No thanks. I would rather have Green's Bird rights at year's end than Kaman's. I think Green will have a much better overall year than Kaman will and be worth more come next off season.

That would be filling one hole to open another.  Something like JO, Dooling and the 2 rooks would make more sense for Boston.

Does it?

Would New Orleans be open to Jermaine O'Neal, Brandon Bass, and their choice of either JaJaun Johnson OR Avery Bradley for Chris Kaman?

Kaman would be very good here. Better then David west would have been. Throw in the clippers pick bc it's value has just dropped significantly.

I am not sure Kaman is a much better bet than JO.  JO is a better defender, and neither can stay healthy.

Fair. When. Kaman is healthy he has all star ability as we saw the year before last. I expect he will be solid given it's a contract year.

Hornets need a PF. We've got plenty of them. As long as we keep Jjuan.

JO and Bass (LSU) for Kaman. As has been suggested ideally you pair Kaman and JO as insurance; but that is not happening here so not sure what you gain. We have a lot of good PF's that can play some center. Semih got a lot of run during the season. You can expect the same for the Stiemsma kid.

And when JO is healthy, he is arguably just as good.  Not as much offense and rebounding, but much more defense.

agreed.  If Kaman wasn't a constant injury risk, it might be worth it but I have a lot of difficulty believing he'll be able to stay the court for the season.
